Hands off Somalia!

Somalia is a disaster and has been for a long time, even when it had a formal national state. Indeed, it's probably better off now than back then. On certain indices 'anarchic' Somalia is doing better than African states with regnant formal governments. Through (what I would call) natrual political negentropy, Somalian civil society is starting to reassert itself via Islam against the depradation of the warlords. The 'international community' response? To get their African clients to send in an occupation force of 'peacekeepers', precisely in response to peace breaking out in Mogadishu! Better a failed state than a green one, apparently, in Somalia now as in Afghanistan. It's also worth noting that these fuckers still don't recognise the functioning breakaway state of Somaliland in the north, but rather insist on installing a government artificially created outside the country.
